Uniform patches
Custom Uniform Patches Made for Daily Wear
When a patch is part of a uniform, consistency matters as much as appearance. We keep your digitized file and color specifications on record so every reorder matches the original, whether you need 25 patches for new hires or 2,000 for a full rollout.
Most uniform patches are embroidered with 75–100% coverage and a merrowed border, the traditional look for shoulder emblems. Woven uniform patches are chosen when designs include small text or detailed elements. For tactical uniforms, hook-and-loop backing lets personnel swap patches between garments.
We regularly help with:
- Shoulder patches for departments, agencies and companies
- Chest emblems and name patches for staff identification
- Rank, role and position patches such as supervisor, instructor or trainee
- Flag patches in standard and subdued colorways
Authorization for official insignia
Many uniform patches reproduce official seals, badges or insignia. We produce these only for customers authorized to use the artwork. Please confirm you have permission when you request a quote.
Why choose uniform patches
- Color-consistent reorders from a stored design file
- Built for frequent and industrial laundering
- Embroidered or woven construction
- Sew-on or hook-and-loop backing for tactical uniforms
Recommended applications
- Police, sheriff and fire department shoulder patches
- Security company uniforms
- Corporate and hospitality staff uniforms
- EMS and medical uniforms
- Transportation and utility crews
Materials
Polyester twill with colorfast polyester thread (embroidered) or fine polyester damask (woven). Merrowed or hot-cut edges.
Size guidance
Shoulder patches usually measure 3.5 to 5 inches tall. Chest emblems are typically 2.5–3.5 inches wide, and name tapes about 1 × 4 or 1 × 5 inches. If you are replacing an existing patch, send its measurements so the new version fits the same position.
Quantities & pricing
Minimum order is 10 patches per design. Many departments keep a stock of patches for new uniforms; we can quote different quantity tiers so you can plan reorders.
Artwork recommendations
Send your current patch (a photo next to a ruler is helpful) and any official artwork files. Note thread colors that must stay exactly the same, especially for department colors that have been in use for years.

FAQ
Uniform patch FAQs
Can you match our existing uniform patch?
Yes. Send a clear photo or a physical sample, plus measurements. We will recreate the design, match thread colors as closely as possible and show you a proof before production.
Will reorders look the same as the first order?
We keep your stitch file and color specifications on record, so reorders are produced from the same file for consistent results.
Do you produce official department or agency patches?
We produce patches for organizations and individuals who are authorized to use the artwork. We are not affiliated with any agency, and we ask customers to confirm permission for protected insignia.
